Pretty eyes and a sweet smile, And I couldn’t quite tell you When exactly I fell for you. I said the words multiple times in my head, To make sure they sounded right. As the rain trickled on my umbrella and my blurry vision came into focus on the glowing crosswalk sign across the street, I let the sounds of passing cars obscure my reality. Nowhere to be, and all the time in the world to get there. Multiple passerbys shuffled their feet through puddles of water while some ran to get into cover. It was a typical day in the city, just with a little extra chaos. I look down at my own shoes, which by now are sopping wet themselves, and try to push the world around me outside of my head. Let me start off by saying, That when you plan to do something You don’t just try- You fucking do. There is no such thing as hesitation. Even breath And fists clenched tight; The running start only hurts When you hit the wall, And realize you forgot to stop. Yelling is too loud, But speaking is too simple. As he walked into the room, it was obvious he was looking for more than just a cup of coffee. A look of bewilderment and perhaps wonder was on his face, and his eyes were focused on the ground in front of him. Hands in his pockets, and his whole posture was incredibly reserved; nothing says uncomfortable like averting yourself from anyone in the room. When he spoke, his voice was very hushed. Was there ever a time, When you were walking through an unfinished house? Looking at the interior, A shell of a home to be, And labeled each of the rooms they were to become? Comfort Zone Challenge -Day 1- Lie Down Challenge

So as of last night, I accepted what is called the Comfort Zone Challenge. It is a free, seven day challenge, where each day you receive a new challenge to push yourself out of your comfort zone. The purpose, is to push your subconcious, and get past feelings of anxiety or stuckness to realize the situation isn't as big as you make it out to be in your head. I was going to just do the challenge and call it a day, however my hair-stylist reccommended (in lue of being an actual psychological experiment) to journal each day's experiences, to see if I can find a trend. On Strangers and Internet Interactions

So I just want to vent for a moment here. For the longest time, I've used sites like Omegle or StrangerMeetUp. For those who don't know, they're chatroom sites that connect you with complete strangers. People use these chatrooms for various purposes: casual conversation, sexting, to troll others, to actually interact...I couldn't tell you why I keep returning to these sites, because it becomes more and more obvious to me the lack of quality conversations these sites have. For so long, I've tried over and over to talk with people. But 9/10 times, the other party isn't trying to create conversation. Like, a single person cannot carry a conver
